Four finishes, one form
Mirror electroplate, champagne gold, brushed SUS304 or powder coat in a colour of your choosing. The KSB1518 and KSB1418TDP carry an anti-fingerprint treatment, and both are rated for indoor and outdoor use.

Ambient light as guidance
A variable LED strip runs the length of the body, signalling state without shouting it — available across the 1518, 1418TDP, 1322W, 1418D and 1312TD variants.

Fail-open by law
On power loss or evacuation the arms release to free passage, as EN 17352 requires for escape routes. On the widest variants that means a 1200 mm opening — a genuine evacuation route, not a token gap.

A swing barrier is a motorised pedestrian gate whose glass arm swings open on authorisation. It offers the widest passage of any barrier type, which is why it is chosen where accessibility matters.
How wide can a swing barrier lane be?
Up to 1200 mm on the KSB1312TD and up to 1100 mm on the KSB1418D. That is wide enough for wheelchairs, pushchairs and luggage without a separate accessible gate.
Can swing barriers be used outdoors?
