One person, mechanically
Three arms at 120 degrees allow exactly one passage per index. Not a sensor deciding, not software inferring — geometry. Nothing else in entrance control makes single-file passage this difficult to argue with.
The mechanism that has outlasted every fashion in entrance control. Three arms, one person at a time, indoors or out — and the widest choice in the range, from a 600 mm post to a double-movement twin lane.
Press Pass through to index the rotor by 120°, or Drop arm to see the arms fall clear on power loss.

Several variants are rated by the manufacturer for indoor and outdoor duty, in SUS304 or painted cold-rolled steel. A tripod tolerates rain, cold and grit in a way a glass wing never will — which is why it still owns stadium perimeters and works yards.
The KT1220, KT1200-Gloden, KT1425 and KT1427 carry a hydraulic buffer on the rotor. The arm returns to rest smoothly instead of snapping — quieter in a lobby, and markedly kinder to the mechanism over millions of passages.
On power loss the blocking arm drops to vertical and the lane opens completely — the tripod interpretation of the free-passage requirement EN 17352 places on escape routes. Nothing remains at waist height to catch anyone leaving in the dark.
Shared electronics, readers and control across the family. What changes is the housing, the finish and the setting each one is built for. Technical figures as published by the manufacturer, March 2026; a model without figures has not had them published rather than estimated.

Eight lanes of ticketed single-file entry, outdoors, in weather — and arms that drop clear when the ground has to empty.
Time-and-attendance at the perimeter, painted steel for the weather, and a mechanism that shift workers cannot argue with.
A tripod turnstile is a pedestrian barrier with three arms set at 120 degrees around a rotating hub. Each authorisation indexes the rotor by one third of a turn, allowing exactly one person through.
35 persons per minute, as published by the manufacturer in September 2025. The figure is consistent across all thirteen variants.
Yes. Several variants, including the KT1220-Black and KT1200-Gloden, are rated by the manufacturer for indoor and outdoor use in painted cold-rolled or electroplated steel.
The blocking arm drops to vertical and the lane opens completely, so nothing remains at waist height. This is the tripod form of the free-passage requirement EN 17352 places on escape routes.
Every model in the range is available either as a supply-only order or as a complete installation. The choice is commercial, not technical — the hardware is identical.
You already have an integrator, an access platform and a programme. We deliver the equipment and the paperwork, and stay out of the way.
One point of responsibility from the site survey to the fifth year of service. You approve a design and take delivery of a working entrance.
Both models cover the full range: speed gates, swing, flap and sliding barriers, tripod and full height turnstiles. Scope, response times and warranty terms are set per project and confirmed in the quotation.
